Hasbara Fellowships
October 23, 2012MFF sponsors through Hasbara Fellowships several activities ON the campuses of UCI, UCSB, UCLA, and UCSD to assist, organize, and educate student leaders to conduct pro-Israel education and to help students fight anti-Semitism on campus. The Campus Coordinator for Southern California is responsible for recruiting new students, training them in pro-Israel advocacy, working with student leaders to develop and implement a campus plan. “Israel by the Book” is a weekly on-line education and activism course program that includes the history of Israel and Middle East, current issues in Israeli society, and pro-Israel activism training. Hasbara also sponsors free and open on-campus educational and speaker series. There are also several scholarships for students to have the opportunity to travel and tour the State of Israel.
