The Milstein Family Foundation Campus Allies Mission, which is open only to those who have not been to Israel and are not eligible for Birthright Israel, is designed for pro-Israel political activists and student leaders who are non-Jewish. Participants experience the land of the Bible, gain a deeper understanding of the strategic and social issues facing Israel today, and examine the challenges and opportunities associated with the U.S.-Israel alliance.
Here’s what students had to say of the trip:
“This was definitely an unparalleled experience to any trip I have ever been on. For someone who just recently became involved with strengthening the U.S.-Israel relationship, I genuinely feel like this trip magnified the connection I have to that relationship and the level of importance it holds among my personal passions. I learned more than I could ever have anywhere else, and actually being in Israel as I learned about it truly strengthened my personal connection to its history and narrative and to the U.S.-Israel relationship.” – student from UNLV
“What a wonderful, eye-opening and life-changing experience!! I feel even more vindicated for spending the last couple of years working for such a successful, cutting-edge organization on the front lines of foreign policy advocacy. I’ve learned so much through reading, talking and lived experience with AIPAC, and I’m glad to end my undergraduate career on such a high note. I can say that from my perspective and hearing about the personal experiences from my fellow participants that the trip was the experience of a lifetime, and that the security and stability of Israel will forever be in the hearts and minds of future (and current) leaders and political advocates who enjoyed this trip.” – student from University of Arizona
